Prose, Poetry, and Essays

Our kind has stood on the heads of women and their efforts for time immemorial. Yet, they smile so wholly today. But in their counterparts they’ve finally lost trust, likely in its entirety. They weren’t given sufficient credit or the thanks, for their thorough support.

Me: “It’s way past my bedtime.”

My ego: “What’s a good bedtime?”

Me: “A reasonable human being should go to bed at 11.”

My ego: I have no desire to be a reasonable human being.

Book Review

I heard about this dude and have meant to read his work for a while now. It finally came available on my Libby.

Bro, I took one read of the synopsis and I’ve decided I might not read it at all.

That’s quite juvenile.

Commentary

Maybe the building of roads, bridges, and infrastructure is a dying business to be involved in.

Governments and its federal banks are deep in the business of printing cash to invest in infrastructure as a means to fuel the economy. It works until it doesn’t work. If technology has eliminated the need to actually have to go anywhere to facilitate something then they’re certainly investing in a dying breed.

While spectacular to see, and incredibly hard feats to accomplish physically, emotionally and while exhibiting exceptional capacity to solve problems; why solve it anymore even.

It’s redundant. It’s certainly unnecessary if it’s purpose is to facilitate mobility as a means to promote activity, if all of it can be accomplished from home.

Pay attention.

To everything.

Your breathing.

What your eyes are seeing.

The gravity of every word you’re reading.

Absorbing the feedback from your senses.

The capacity to do so with no effort,

a moonshot stardust blessing.

It takes effort.

And leaves no time for Fiction.

Mind, the devil, is also always in the details.

I’m definitely not writing for myself.

I’m writing to move the world.

I have somethings

I have to say

I want you to hear.

In fact, I expect you do too. I want to hear those as well, in studying to understand what makes the world go around.
